About This Event

  • Event Type:Classes
  • Max Capacity:40
Details:

Many participants complete the Neural Reprocessing for Anxiety class hungry for more. So we created a Level II series that will allow participants to go deeper with the work and practice more advanced skills for resolving anxiety. In this series, we build on the ideas of cognitive reframing, mindfulness, self-compassion and self-awareness. We practice more sophisticated somatic tracking and introduce longer meditation periods. We will also explore more neuroscience about “reward circuitry” and how we use mind body practices to change behavior. Anxiety is your body’s natural alarm system, but sometimes the neural circuit for this alarm gets stuck in the “on” position. These brain re-wiring practices serve to turn that alarm off and reset your brain’s default mode to one of safety and presence. This is not group therapy, but a group format does allow class members to encourage and learn from each other as we practice exercises, watch videos or discuss topics. Completion of Neural Reprocessing for Anxiety is recommended. This class is held online the following dates:

  • Feb 2023 Series on Feb 7, 14, 21, and 28
  • April 2023 Series on Apr 4, 11, 18, and 25
