“Best in MO” - 2014 Contest

One in seven men living in the U.S. today will develop prostate cancer. A man dies from prostate cancer every 18 minutes even though prostate cancer is nearly 100% curable if caught early.

These statistics inspired Boulder Community Health to form a team in support of Movember — an international movement where men grow moustaches in November to raise awareness of and funds for men’s health issues, especially prostate cancer.

Some of the men on our team ("Mo Boulder Community Health") were also competing to grow the best moustache during November. Now the voting for "Best in MO" begins!

The contestant who gets the most votes by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, will be crowned “Best in MO - 2014.” The winner will receive a BCH Movember Prize Pack, and the BCH Foundation will make a $100 donation to the team in the winner’s name.

The final results are in and we have a winner! Congratulations to Josh Rubinsky, Trauma Coordinator, Emergency Department at BCH, for winning our Movember “Best in MO - 2014” contest! Josh will be presented with a Movember prize pack. In addition, the BCH Foundation will make a $100 donation to Movember in Josh’s name. Thanks to all members of the MO Boulder Community Health team, the six contestants and the more than 175 people who voted.
