Social Media Advisory
If you are contacted by someone on social media or called by someone who claims to be from BCH and asks you for sensitive personal information - such as your complete Social Security Number or bank account numbers - do not provide that information. If you are concerned that a call might be a scam, we recommend the following:
- Ask the caller what department he represents, then tell him you will call him back. DO NOT use a telephone number provided by the caller.
- Instead, call the main BCH number – 303-440-2273 – and ask to be connected to that department. Then ask for the individual by name. In this way, you will have verified that you are talking with a BCH employee.
If you do receive a scam call or email, please contact the Boulder Community Health’s Public Relations Department at 303-440-2109 or email@example.com.
