Paying for Laboratory Services

BCH accepts most major insurance plans. Check your specific coverage with your employer or insurance company. We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Co-payment is due at time of service.

BEFORE you receive a Laboratory service, you may want to:

• MDSave: Explore out-of-pocket costs if you are uninsured or wish to pay directly for any test. We offer affordable prices for many of the most common lab tests.
• Check into financial assistance, which may be available if you are uninsured or under-insured. For more information, call 303-415-8115.

Bills to Expect

Depending upon your insurance, you will receive a bill from either Boulder Community Health Laboratory or Carent, a contracted BCH billing partner. If a pathologist reviews your test, you will also receive a bill from Boulder Valley Pathology.
