Learn Hands-Only CPR in Minutes

Boulder Community Health’s highest priority is to ensure we do everything within our control to maintain the safety of our patients, staff and the overall community. This requires us to take every opportunity to contain, control and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), limiting public gatherings is a very effective tool for slowing the spread of COVID-19. We are following that CDC recommendation and cancelling all non-essential public gatherings intended for community members. This is effective immediately and includes Hands-Only CPR classes.

We recognize that activities like community education programs and support groups are highly valued by community members and the BCH staff who provide those services. Accordingly, we have started a taskforce that is working to identify alternative ways of providing such activities. We expect to begin using such new approaches in the near future.

Thank you for supporting this effort to safeguard our community. I also encourage you to visit the homepage of our website, www.bch.org, for regular updates about COVID-19.

New dates are added regularly. Check back to future class dates and locations, or sign up to receive emails about upcoming classes here.

According to the American Heart Association, there are more than 356,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests in the US each year, nearly 90% of them fatal. The good news is that CPR performed immediately by a bystander can triple a person’s chance of survival.
