According to the American Heart Association, there are more than 356,000
out of hospital cardiac arrrests in the US each year, nearly 90% of them
fatal. The good news is that CPR performed immediately by a bystander
can double or triple the person’s chance of survival.
Did you know you can learn effective hands-only CPR techniques in just
10 minutes? BCH is pleased to offer CPR training classes to the community
taught by providers and educators from Boulder Community Health.
Each class session includes:
Hands-on CPR training with an instructor
(Learn in 10 minutes!)
- Practice on a CPR training manikin
- Question and answer session
In this class you can learn:
- How to identify an emergency where CPR is needed
- What to do FIRST before you start CPR
- How to perform hands-only CPR
