It’s never been easy to be a teen or young adult, but today’s
younger generations do face some unique challenges. Heavy social media
and marijuana use are just a couple of the newer stressors negatively
impacting many young adults. Studies even suggest that these factors might
be connected to the rise in mental illness among young people.
Join Jeannie Ritter – former First Lady of Colorado and an Ambassador
for the Mental Health Center of Denver – for a forward-looking panel
discussion on the challenges today’s teens and young adults face.
Topics will include how marijuana use and social media can seriously impact
young people’s well-being, as well as new approaches to reducing
the risk of teen suicide.
