In 2016, Colorado passed a law giving individuals new options when facing
unrelenting pain and suffering at the end of their lives. The Colorado
End-of-Life Options Act allows terminally ill adults to take life-ending,
doctor-prescribed medication. Even though it’s been more than a
year since the Act took effect, many people have questions about it.
Drs.
Jean Abbott and
Ben Keidan will provide answers to common questions about the Colorado End-of-Life
Options Act, including the evolution of the law, common beliefs and concerns
about it and specific requirements for patients, medical facilities and
health care providers.
When: Wednesday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to noon
Where: Boulder Jewish Community Center,
