Technology is woven into most aspects of modern medical care.

In order to better support patient care, the BCH I.T. team has launched a new, onsite BCH service desk to help our caregivers who encounter technology issues.

Their goal: To resolve I.T. issues faster so our caregivers can get back to their patients quicker. We have added seven new, highly-skilled BCH service desk personnel whose goal is to solve problems during the initial call. If they can’t fix a particular issue, they will escalate the problem in real time to our six BCH technical support analysts who can provide personal support at any BCH location.

With this change, we are aiming to give our BCH staff and caregivers a higher level of customer service.
