The BCH Foundation supports BCH to help enhance their services to meet
the growing mental health care needs of our community.
Behavioral Health Collaborative Care
Delivers timely and effective care for behavioral health conditions in
the primary care setting, thereby improving patient safety, physician
satisfaction, and overall quality of care for patients presenting high-risk
behavioral health condition. This includes a BCH employed Behavioral Care
Manager (LCSW), training through Health Management Inc., and 4 hours per
week of psychiatric consultation with a BCH employed psychiatric nurse
practitioner housed in outpatient Behavioral Health.
Anchor Point Mental Health Endowment Grants
Offers grants that will enable individuals to receive mental health care
and support services that would otherwise not be available to them. These
grants are being made across four core priority areas: transitions, treatment,
health and wellness and education.
Mental Health Training – Workplace Violence TEAM
Invested in training for 500 staff members to help them recognize, understand,
react and manage aggressive behavior that will provide a safer and more
productive environment for staff and patients. The investment includes
an additional online program for staff and a train the trainer component
so BCH will be well equipped to continue the program with internal training
resources for years to come.
