Physician Bio
Board certified in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography and nuclear
cardiology, Dr. Ware has practiced in Boulder since 2007.
Dr. Ware received her bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Harvard
University in 1995. She earned her medical degree from the University
of Colorado in Denver in 2000, where she was presented with the Gold-Headed
Cane Award for promise as an outstanding physician. She completed her
internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard
Medical School in 2003 and finished her cardiology fellowship at Boston
Medical Center in 2006. While there, she received the American Heart Association's
Laennec Young Clinician Award, recognizing clinical acumen, analytic skills
and teaching ability in future cardiologists.
Dr. Ware is an active member of the American Heart Association and the
American Society of Echocardiography. She treats all types of cardiovascular
disease and has a special interest in heart valve problems, preventive
cardiology and cardiac issues in women and athletes.
