Missy Smith was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana. She graduated from
Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She cared
for patients as a bedside nurse in critical and acute care. After moving
to Colorado in 2011, she changed paths and worked as a public health nurse
for the City and County of Broomfield. Missy completed her Master’s
degree in Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing degree at Georgetown University
and is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She joined the BCH
community in 2016, providing care with the pain management team.
Missy is very excited to be serving patients in her community. She is passionate
about providing the best care for patients and helping to improve their
quality of life. Optimal health requires a team approach and she is excited
to be working with the pain management team, mental health, occupation
therapy, and physical therapy to provide patients with the best possible
care. She enjoys spending time with family, especially her husband, Rick,
and their 4 children. She also enjoys hiking, swimming, and painting.
