Dr. Royer is a board-certified family practice physician. After receiving
an undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish from Stanford University,
Dr. Royer earned her medical degree from the University of California
Los Angeles (UCLA).
She completed her residency at Ventura County Medical Center in 1988 and
soon afterward began practicing family medicine in the Boulder area. She
joined BCH's Family Medical Associates in November of 2004.
Dr. Royer provides complete medical care for all ages and stresses disease
prevention. She strives to form in-depth relationships with patients by
caring for every member of the family.
In 2000, Dr. Royer was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Family
Physicians, recognizing her service to family medicine and her personal
commitment to medical education. She is also a member of the Boulder County
Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Royer and her husband, Bryan, have three daughters. In her spare time,
she enjoys listening to music, biking, tennis, hiking and reading.
Dr. Royer stays involved in improving community medical care as a preceptor
for St. Anthony's Family Medicine Residency for 24 years and as a
member of the Quality Improvement committee where she pilots programs
with the American Academy of Family Physicians to improve adolescent and
adult immunization rates.
