Physician Bio
Dr. McBride joined Boulder Creek Family Medicine in July 2018. The Ohio
native received his medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton,
OH, and completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship
at the University of Colorado. He holds undergraduate degrees in Pre-Medicine
and Chemistry from the University of Dayton.
Board certified in family medicine and primary care sports medicine, Dr.
McBride enjoys caring for active patients of all ages and helping to improve
health through promotion of healthy lifestyle habits including regular
exercise and a balanced natural diet.
Dr. McBride has a special interest in musculoskeletal/sports medicine,
ultrasound usage in sports medicine, pediatrics, and evidence-based preventive medicine.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American
Medical Society for Sports Medicine. As a Clinical Instructor with the
University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. McBride enjoys educating
future physicians during their early training and family medicine clerkship.
He provides volunteer sports physician coverage with the Alexander Dawson
School in Lafayette, CO.
An avid soccer player, hiker, and skier, Dr. McBride lives in Arvada with
his wife and their two dogs.
