Myles S. Guber, MD

About

As a board-certified thoracic surgeon, Dr. Myles Guber has more than 30 years of experience in the operating room. He joined Boulder Heart’s cardiology team in January 2023 and has practiced with Colorado Cardiovascular Surgical Associates (CCVSA) since 1987.

Dr. Guber is incredibly passionate about providing the best possible care and comfort to patients during their heart health journeys. With decades of expertise, Dr. Guber is skilled in all aspects of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery and specializes in small incision valve surgeries and aneurysm repair.

Dr. Guber, who received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University, trained in general surgery at Louisiana State University and completed his cardiac surgical training at University of Southern California, Good Samaritan Hospital, in Los Angeles.

When Dr. Guber is not in the operating room, his hobbies include downhill skiing, backcountry skiing, fly fishing and upland bird hunting.
