Dr. Bowles received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in
1978 and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in 1982. He completed
his radiology residency at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center
(1982-1986), which was followed by fellowship in cardiovascular and interventional
radiology at Stanford University Hospital (1986-1987).
Dr Bowles joined as an associate with Boulder Radiologists, Inc. in 1987.
Dr. Bowles is board certified in diagnostic, vascular and interventional
radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology,
American College of Radiology, the Colorado Radiological Society, the
Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder Medical Society.
Particular interests include treatment of varicose veins, vertebroplasty
or kyphoplasty for compression fractures, uterine fibroid embolization
and percutaneous image-guided ablation of tumors.
Dr. Bowles has two children and enjoys skiing, bicycling, camping, rafting
and kayaking. Dr. Bowles is a part-time jazz musician who has been advised
to keep his day job.
