Mind Body Skills Online Series
New theories in neuroscience now explain how stress can cause very real
changes in your physical and emotional health. Mind Body Medicine brings
together these theories for the treatment of health problems that haven’t
responded to traditional medical therapies: migraines, anxiety, insomnia
and chronic pain, to name a few.
Using a curriculum designed by Dr. James Gordon at the Center for Mind
Body Medicine based in Washington, D.C., this series will empower participants
with mind body tools that can alleviate their symptoms and significantly
improve their stress-related physical and emotional health.
WHAT ARE THE MEETING DATES AND COSTS? The series will be small, just eight
to ten people, and meet 9 to 11 a.m. on these eight Wednesdays: August
12, 19, 26, September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Elizabeth Haselwood, RN, who
is a Mind Body Medicine certification candidate through cmbm.org, will
facilitate these virtual sessions.
$240 for eight, two-hour sessions. Attendance at every session is essential.
Limited scholarships are available. Please inquire.
