Express Childbirth Education-Virtual
In this two-day, short evening class we talk about the birth process, and
what to expect the day you come to the hospital for Labor and Delivery.
We take a quick look at the physical changes happening through pregnancy,
with emphasis on what signs and symptoms your doctor and/or midwife would
want to know about. Some of the class is taught in a Labor and Delivery
room, where we review what services and equipment that are available to
the laboring mom and support person(s).
This class is perfect for those who just want the basics reviewed, or as
a refresher. Also a good class choice for someone who is planning on getting
more information from other reliable sources. It covers vaginal and cesarean births.

Boulder Community Health’s highest priority is to ensure we do everything
within our control to maintain the safety of our patients, staff and the
overall community. This requires us to take every opportunity to contain,
control and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 virus. According to the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), limiting public gatherings
is a very effective tool for slowing the spread of COVID-19.
We are following that CDC recommendation and cancelling all non-essential
in-person public gatherings intended for community members. This is effective
immediately and includes all Childbirth and Parenting Classes and Support Groups.
Thank you for supporting this effort to safeguard our community. I also
encourage you to visit the homepage of our website,
www.bch.org, for regular updates about COVID-19.
