A Cincinnati native, Dr. Hess graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency at the University of Colorado in 2002. She practiced a full range of family medicine in Loveland before joining Table Mesa Family Medicine in 2004. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Hess has a special interest in women's health, preventive health and nutrition. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and a clinical professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hess believes the journey to optimal health takes a team approach, and the patient must be informed and involved. She embraces complementary and alternative medicine, acknowledging Western medicine's limitations and the importance of a patient's attitude toward healing.
