Triathlon Physiology & Nutrition Workshop 2011

It's almost that season again - triathlon season!  BCSM works with triathletes of all abilities, from professional ITU and Ironman racers and age group champions, to first timers and relative neophytes.  Whatever your goals are, this workshop is for you.  It will help you take all the guessing out of the training process.  Let our experts get you ready for the 2011 triathlon season.

In this 4 week class, you will learn your individual training zones and how to use them to maximize your athletic potential.  Get answers to these questions:   

How can I improve my triathlon race-day performance?

What should I eat and drink?

How much?

When?

Here is what you need to do and what to expect:

1)  Call the number above to schedule a pre-workshop FUEL test.

2) Schedule your physiology and nutrition testing sometime between now and April 14th.  This appointment will take about 2 hours.

3)  Attend the four 1-hour classes held on Thursday evenings from 6pm-7pm in the BCSM Sport Science Lab on April 14, 21, 28, and May 5.

4)  Use your new-found knowledge to become the best triathlete you can be!

Body Composition Analysis $15 (usually $20) - Learn your percent body fat to help you determine an ideal weight.

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing $75 (usually 100) - Accurately determine how many calories you burn in a day at rest.
