The Sport Science department at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine includes our Biomechanics Lab, Exercise Physiology Lab, Sports Nutrition and Coaching programs. Together, these areas work to provide our clients with state of the art testing and consultation services that can help pinpoint and prevent injury, as well as provide information that can improve performance. Designed to emulate the Olympic Training Center, our Human Performance Laboratory features biomechanical testing (including 3D and video running and cycling gait analysis), physiology testing (VO2 max, lactate threshold testing, anaerobic power and substrate utilization testing), nutrition consultations and evaluations, training consultations and coaching services. Using these services has proven effective in helping weekend warriors to train smarter and prevent common training injuries. Elite and recreational athletes use sport science testing to help them reach their maximum potential, regardless of their goals.
