University Bicycles will be giving away a Specialized Sectuer Elite bicycle valued at $1300! There will be other give-aways, too, for a few lucky people, but none as cool as this bike! Just t-shirts, water bottles, socks, courier bags, and stuff like that. You must be present to win.
Andy Pruitt, Ed.D., PA-C, is an internationally known sports medicine clinician, athletic trainer, author, and educator with three decades of experience in sports medicine and biomechanics. Andy is the Founder of Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and the author of "Andy Pruitt's Complete Medical Guide for Cyclists.
Roger Minkow, MD, is a practicing physician from California, and has been a cycling product designer for 20 years. He introduced the ergonomically correct bicycle seat, which evolved into the Body Geometry saddle made by Specialized. Dr. Minkow actively works in the cycling industry pursuing ergonomic solutions for cyclists.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to University Bicycles and Specialized for helping to make this free community event possible. Specialized has generously found a way to bring Dr. Minkow to Boulder for us to enjoy as a speaker, and U-Bikes is donating a Specialized Sectuer Elite bicycle to a lucky winner at the end of the lecture.
Find out more about these great sponsors by visiting their websites - or even better, go to University Bicycles and check out their great store at 9th and Pearl!
