Athletes will receive a periodized training plan based on their goals and race schedules. One monthly consultation is included in the price for coaching. Training schedules are updated each week, and the coach evaluates the athlete's training using a variety of advanced tools. Several levels of coaching are available, with some including weekly group workouts, and the top level including quarterly physiology testing. Coaching clients recieve training plans and use web-based training logs through Trainingpeaks.com. This partnership allows the coach and athlete to maintain frequent contact and accurate analysis of training between scheduled meeting times.

These consultations allow the athlete and coach to dial in specific needs, in addition to the sessions included in the one-on-one coaching program.
Many athletes who are self-coached use the expert coaches and physiologists at BCSM to help them dial in their own training schedules. These appointments are scheduled in 15-minute increments, and can be used to objectively plan specific training with an expert coach or to have sports technique or performance analyzed by our expert coaches.
