Following her competitive ski career, Toni coached the women’s cross-country program at the University of Colorado for four years and at the 1987 World University Games in Italy. She continues to maintain a strong passion for cross-country skiing, although her career and family now occupy a great deal of her time. Toni graduated from the University of Colorado in 1984 with a bachelor of science in exercise physiology. She studied physical therapy at the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a second B.S. in 1991, before returning to Boulder with her husband. Although she is more involved with physical therapy and family life now, she continues to compete at the masters level in cross-country skiing, cycling and running. Additionally, she is an avid alpine skier.
At the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, Toni shares her professional knowledge in orthopedics, her athletic prowess and her compassion for helping patients regain their previous level of physical function, whether it be running a marathon or cooking dinner. Education
