Tami Dick, PT, CSCS

Physical Therapist

One of the original members of the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine staff, Tami graduated from Washington University (St. louis) Program in Physical Therapy in 1987, and moved to Colorado for her professional career. She began working for Boulder Community Hospital in 1995, prior to the opening of BCSM. She earned a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification in 1997.

As part of the Biomechanics/bike fit staff at BCSM, she has been performing bicycle fit evaluations on road, mountain and triathlon athletes of all levels for more than 13 years. She wrote the "Pre-Fit Physical Assessment" section for the Body Geometry Fit School manual, through Specialized Bicyle Component University, and actively teaches Physical Assessment and bike fitting at their headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA. In addition to bike fitting, she has a special interest in core and gluteal strength in relation to cycling performance.

Active in many sports throughout her lifetime, she competed in team sports while growing up in the Midwest, but has always been a cyclist at heart. She competed in road cycling for 6 years, then in triathlons up to 1/2 Ironman distance. She now does a mixture of road and mountain riding, and enjoys her "easy days" riding with her son as his cycling interest grows.
