Orthopedic Surgeon

 

Dr. Paul's orthopedic practice in Boulder has a strong emphasis on arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle. The practice also features general orthopedics including trauma and reconstructive surgery.  An active member in the community, Dr. Paul was physician coordinator for the U.S. Olympic Festival in Boulder and has helped to provide coverage for downhill ski racing in Aspen, Colorado.  He has also provided medical coverage in football and soccer for Denver Public Schools.  Dr. Paul and his wife enjoy mountain biking, back country skiing, telemarking and mountaineering in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.  He plays recreational softball on a team sponsored by his orthopedic group.  He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.  Dr. Paul completed his undergraduate and medical degrees, as well as his residency program, within the University of Colorado system.  He also trained in sports medicine through the Rocky Mountain Sports Medicine Fellowship Program in trauma, with special concentration on the sports of cycling and skiing.
