Larry Meyer, DPT

Physical Therapist

Larry has the distinction of being BCSM’s first “doctor” of physical therapy.  He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in Portland, Oregon, and he is taking post-graduate classes with the Institute of Physical Art to become a Certified Functional Manual Therapist.  Primarily, Larry’s advanced studies are focused on applying knowledge of efficient and unrestricted body movement principles to treat sport and orthopedic injuries.  Larry is equally comfortable treating spine and extremity patients, and his treatment philosophy is centered on creating a positive, professional and effective path of injury recovery.  Larry’s sports interests are in mountain and road biking, tennis, and trail running.  Additionally, Larry is a dedicated husband and father.

Larry joined forces with our top notch Bike Fitting team in 2008, after sucessfully completing a Bike Fit mentorship under the guidance of Andy Pruitt, Tami Dick, Jason Amrich, and Sean Madsen.  Boulder Center for Sports Medicine is known around the world as a leader in bike fitting using the Andy Pruitt method.
