 An impassioned skier and cyclist, Dr. Grauer has been practicing sports medicine and orthopedics for nearly a decade in the Boulder and Louisville area. Since relocating his family from Los Angeles in 1991, he has become an integral part of the community as a practicing physician, researcher and teacher. Upon receiving his orthopedic training at UCLA, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Salt Lake City Knee and Sports Medicine. Returning to UCLA for a faculty teaching position and as an assistant team physician for UCLA's varsity athletic programs, Dr. Grauer continued his interest in biomechanics and sports medicine, while expanding an impressive body of published articles. With the support of his wife and children, Dr. Grauer continues to pursue his interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery to the great benefit of the Front Range community. As his private practice grows, he stays involved with local high school athletic programs, as well as the University of Colorado club sports athletics program. A board certified orthopaedic surgeon, he is an active member in the Arthroscopy Association of North America, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
