If you have an acute injury and need some immediate advice, this service is for you. Our Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) have the skill and knowledge needed to evaluate your acute injury and direct your care. If acute injuries are treated properly from the beginning, they will heal faster and future problems may be prevented. If our ATC suggests a follow up visit with your primary care physician or an orthopedist we will help facilitate that process. Acute back and neck injuries will require evaluation by a physician or a physical therapist and cannot be scheduled with an ATC. The price for our Acute Injury Evaluation is $35. This fee is due at the time of your appointment and we do not bill insurance for this service. Our Acute Injury Evaluation does not include any x-rays. If x-rays are recommended, you will have the option of using your insurance benefits and selecting your choice of imaging facilities.
