 Kristin van Konynenburg, M.D.
Dr. van Konynenburg believes that true healing occurs when patients are treated in body, mind and spirit. She has a strong background in traditional family medicine and combines this knowledge with nutrition and lifestyle counseling and complementary practices to provide individualized care for each of her patients. Dr. van Konynenburg hails from California, where she completed medical school at the University of California, Davis in 1995. She completed her residency in family practice in Martinez, California in 1998. Her love of the outdoors led Dr. van Konynenburg to spend three seasons in Antarctica as the physician at a remote scientific research station. She has also lived in Kenya. Dr. van Konynenburg speaks Spanish and teaches wilderness medicine.
