She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. After completing her medical education in 1981, Dr. Rosenbaum practiced in Denver for six years and then moved to Kauai, Hawaii, where she had an active practice for 15 years. Dr. Rosenbaum returned to Colorado in 2001 specifically to join a medical practice focused solely on gynecology. The gynecology-only orientation of Foothills Gynecology allows Dr. Rosenbaum to pursue her special interests in menopause, infertility, and health maintenance for women at all stages of their lives. Since coming to Boulder, Dr. Rosenbaum has volunteered with the medical missionary team from Boulder Community Hospital that travels annually to Boulder’s Sister City of Mante, Mexico. There she gives free medical and surgical care to indigent patients. When not caring for patients, Dr. Rosenbaum likes to run, ski, hike, bike, cook, read and attend theater/music/dance performances. She also volunteers at the Boulder Valley Humane Society and the Boulder Homeless Shelter. Nancy Engellenner, BSN, WHCNP
Nancy Engellenner received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1977 from the University of Colorado. She has completed additional training with the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is a certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHCNP), and the Colorado State Board of Nursing also recognizes her as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Ms. Engellenner has been practicing in the Boulder community since 1979. She specializes in treating the health and wellness concerns of women of all ages. When not caring for patients, Ms. Engellenner volunteers in Boulder’s schools and community programs, sharing her expertise on human growth and development, birth control methods, and protection against and detection of sexually transmitted diseases. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters, mountain living, outdoor activities, and traveling.
