J. Michael King, M.D.
Dr. J. Michael King is an otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon who subspecializes in laryngology. In addition to treating the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat disorders, his special interests include helping patients of all ages with voice, swallowing and airway disorders. Dr. King completed his residency training as well as a laryngology fellowship at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Dr. King served as assistant professor of otolaryngology in Texas prior to joining Boulder Valley Ear, Nose & Throat in Boulder, Colorado. His surgical expertise is helping singers and other professional voice users by performing endoscopic microlaryngeal procedures to remove common causes of hoarseness such as vocal fold nodules, polyps or cysts as well as laryngeal malignancies. He treats other disorders such as vocal cord paralysis, spasmodic dysphonia, respiratory papillomas, laryngeal reflux disease, chronic cough, and certain swallowing disorders. In addition, Dr. King specializes in managing laryngeal and tracheal obstruction or stenosis. He has had extensive training in endoscopic laser procedures to open obstructing lesions in the upper airway. Dr. King has a special interest in performing minimally invasive office-based procedures under local anesthesia. With the use of state of the art flexible endoscopes and videostroboscopy recording equipment, Dr. King is often able to assess and treat many problems right in the office. This includes injections for vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal Botox injections, office-based laser procedures, and non-sedated esophagoscopy. Dr. Morrissey is a board certified Otolaryngologist. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Colorado, Denver in 1994. He went on to complete his residency in 1999 from the Oregon Health Science University in Portland. He joined the staff of Boulder Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2000. He has been a member of the Cancer committee Medical executive committee and served as chief of surgery at Boulder Community Hospital from 2004 -2006. He is currently chairman of the surgery department at Avista Hospital. Dr. Morrissey is the Otolaryngologist for the U.S. rugby team. His special interests include endocrine surgery, sinus surgery, facial trauma, and treatment of pediatric patients. Douglas Warren, M.D.

Jamie is a certified physician assistant specializing in ENT and head/neck surgery. She has an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College, Vermont, and went on to graduate with honors from the Duke University PA program. Prior to attending graduate school, she spent three years working in the Children's Hospital Cardiac ICU and urgent care clinics as an EMT. Jamie provides comprehensive adult and pediatric care to patients in clinic and assists with surgeries in the OR. She is comfortable with all aspects of otolaryngology, endoscopic evaluation, minor office procedures, epistaxis control, audiologic interpretation, and surgical discussion.
