The full range of orthopedic surgeries are performed at Boulder Community Hospital. Operating rooms are equipped with the latest technology to support everything from outpatient orthoscopy to such complex procedures as total joint replacements. Some outpatient procedures are also performed at Boulder Community Musculoskeletal Surgery Center, which is across the street from the main hospital.

Our orthopedic acute care unit provides up-to-date quality services, using equipment that includes the latest Orthopat autotransfusion technology. Nurses keep abreast of the latest orthopedic procedures and techniques, and many have more than 10 years experience in their fields.
Patients are routinely seen by physical and occupational therapists during their stay. Nurses and therapists provide valuable care, counseling and teaching to assist patients with full recovery. Case managers (social workers), discharge planners, and patient representatives help insure the highest quality of care.
