 Dr. Lipetz received her medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado in 1988. She also has an M.A. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology from CU.
She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing locally since 1991. Except for four years in Denver for medical school and a three-year residency in Portland, she has called Boulder home since 1958. An active community volunteer, Dr. Lipetz has served as president of the American Heart Association's Boulder County Division and Boulder Community Hospital's Medical Staff. Additionally, she has been a volunteer teacher at the University of Colorado's Health Sciences Center since the early 90s, and is an assistant clinical professor of medicine there.
