 Dr. Brubaker received his medical degree in 1972 from Philadelphia's Jefferson Medical College. His undergraduate degree is from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has been practicing internal medicine locally since 1977. Prior to settling in Boulder, he completed his residency at Presbyterian Medical Center in Denver and spent two years in the U.S. Army. In addition to his over two decades in active practice, Dr. Brubaker has collaborated on numerous research projects, including studies involving hypertension, headaches, osteoarthritis, bronchitis, pneumonia, yeast infections, dysmenorrhea and urinary tract infections.
