News and Events Update October 2009 Boulder Busts Cancer Over 250 BCH supporters packed Gebhardt BMW’s showroom on October 8th to help raise awareness and fight Breast Cancer. "Boulder Busts Cancer" showcased artistically decorated bras and busts and combined with great food, beverage, educational sessions and an auctioning of the bust art, raised much-needed funds for the BCH Auxiliary’s "Breast Cancer Treatment Fund" that helps uninsured women receive vital follow up medical treatment. "Busts 2" will no doubt be an even bigger and equally fun night out! Don't Miss the Auxiliary Fashion Show in November The BCH Auxiliary will conduct the annual fashion show luncheon on Saturday, November 21 at the Omni Hotel in Broomfield. The event’s proceeds will benefit heart health services at BCH. Tickets are $65. In addition to seeing the latest fashions modeled by physicians, nurses and hospital supporters, a large silent auction will be conducted. Also, “Jewels for Joy” will return for the third year. “Jewels” involves the sale of slightly used or “never liked” jewelry donations. Please consider a donation of your old jewelry that you do not use. The proceeds from the jewelry sale (about $10,000 annually) also benefit the heart care program at BCH. An Evening in Buenos Aires The 6th annual black tie affair at the St. Julien Hotel will have an Argentine theme! Mark your calendars now for Saturday evening, May 15, 2010 for this ever fun and exciting event. Once again, great food, beverage, fabulous décor and gambling will be featured---all for a noble cause of helping children with autism. Tickets are $175 per person and the event is limited to 250 partygoers. Year End Giving Please consider an end of the year charitable gift to benefit programs and services at BCH.
