Ruth Bentley, MSN, FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) at Gunbarrel Family Medicine. Ruth graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with her Master of Science in Nursing. Ruth cares for patients of all ages through both preventive care and treatment of acute illness and injuries.

Prior to joining Boulder Community Health’s Gunbarrel Family Medicine team, Ruth cared for patients across the front range as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Registered nurse (RN) in family medicine, urgent care and emergency medicine.

When she is not visiting with her patients, Ruth can be found climbing, often with her husband and Samoyed, tending to her ever-expanding vegetable garden or simply relaxing with a good cup of coffee at a local café.

Ruth is dedicated to providing individualized and evidence-based holistic care throughout the lifespan of her patients. As an active person, she is passionate about providing preventative care and treatment of illness and injury so her patients can continue to enjoy the beauty that surrounds them each and every day.
