Dr. Damek was dismissive and condescending. He seemed annoyed with my answers and kept insisting that part of the issue I was being seen for was just something I had never noticed before (I have a hard lump in my wrist that appeared a few days prior to my appt). He kept saying it's probably always been there and I just didn't notice. It wasn't. Furthermore, when he was trying to end the appointment, he said to keep wearing the brace I had bought because that will improve things. He was out of his seat when I responded that I had worn the brace for 6 weeks and things aren't better. He sat back down with what I can only describe as extreme frustration and said, "why didn't you say that!!?"He decided to put in a referral for me. We walked out of the room, he handed me a business card for the referral and just walked away.I will never choose to see him again unless I have no other options. I do not like being treated rudely and told I don't know what I am talking about.
