A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Van Tassel graduated from Dayton, Ohio's Wright State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver. Dr. Van Tassel treats patients for a complete range of illnesses and injuries. Her interest in women's health and adolescent medicine inspired her to provide specialized gynecological procedures including colposcopy to examine abnormalities in the cervix. She is certified in cardiac, obstetric and neonatal advanced life support. Dr. Van Tassel's personal interests include cooking, traveling and hiking.
