Libby Cook

Libby, a new BCH Board member in January 2024, spent much of her professional career co-founding and running the natural foods supermarket chains Wild Oats and Sunflower Markets from the mid 1980’s to the early 2000’s. Since 2006 Libby has devoted her time to advancing the mission of the Philanthropiece Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit that she founded in 1997. Philanthropiece supports local leaders in Colorado, Guatemala, and Mexico to advance economic and climate justice, social entrepreneurship and leadership initiatives.

She has served on numerous boards including the CSU Global Social and Sustainable MBA Program, the CU Law School Silicon Flatirons Entrepreneurship Initiative, and Shining Mountain Waldorf School.
